We’re back
Apr 11th, 2007 by Ben
Big apologies for the distinct lack of posting in recent days (read: weeks).
We’ve just overhauled the site onto a new blogging system which will enable me to blog from anywhere (read: lectures). It also means we can do away with the “Ben/Sally: ” prefix to each blog entry title, and replace it with a neat signature at the bottom right. We can also now tag posts with more than one tag, e.g. ‘cordelia’ and ‘play’, or ’star’ and ‘wars’.
Hopefully, you won’t really notice any other differences, even though the back end has changed a fair bit.
To more interesting matters - Cordie has a personality! I guess she kind-of had one before, but now it’s obvious. She grabs at stuff, giggles more and seems to just ‘get’ what we’re doing when we play.

She’s turned into such a babe.
I’ll leave it up to Sally to fill you all in on how she’s going, but I’ll just say that she’s nailing this motherhood thing, thus far, no dramas. I learn quite a lot from her about Cordie and parenting babies in general. She’s a babe too.
College is on a break at the moment, which is a blessed rest from having more information poured into us; just enough time to do some catching up, as well as write an essay. I’m writing an essay on the first (not really first-first, but almost first) English Bibles. Trawling the web led me to this site, which sells antique and rare Bibles. Very cool. One of the original Matthew-Tyndale 1st Ed. 1537 leaves (a single page) would be a great retiring present for a minister or something. If you know someone moving on etc, look these guys up and see what they can do for you. Most relevant to my essay is the Geneva Bible, of which they have several.
More to follow, folks, as we get back into the swing of blogging. We lost our comments, having adopted a new commenting system based on Blogger. Hopefully it will feel more familiar to people as they comment.
Leave a comment now to welcome us back, we’d love to hear from you. Faithful Dave will leave one for sure.
