Accordance

After ripping into Accordance maps the other day, I had a detailed to-and-fro with one of the developers there, Roy, who listened very carefully to my comments, pointed out a couple of misunderstandings on my part, and was altogether very willing to hear my feedback and work it into potential future plans.
This morning, David Lang, over at the Accordance blog has some very handy keyboard shortcuts for Accordance. By ‘very handy’ I mean ‘necessary’. If you’re not using these, they could really make Accordance sing for you.

Good to see you found a way around your issue. In the future, if you have any issues or are unsure if there is a better way to accomplish something, I would encourage you to post it on the Forum. Many of the developers, as well as long-time users are quick to answer every question that is posted. Cheers!
Actually, Rick, I didn’t find a way around my issue. The atlas module doesn’t work the way I think it ought to. That’s just my opinion, but I just want to be clear that I think it could be better. I ran Roy through what I would like it to do and he understood very quickly what I meant. It’s encouraging that he saw the significance of how I would like the module to work. I can only hope there’ll be more feedback about it, since apparently I’m the very first person to make any substantive criticism of the atlas.
I see. Constructive input is taken seriously, so I don’t doubt that your requests will be taken into consideration. I would still encourage you to post such thoughts in the Forum, that way you are virtually guaranteed a response.
