For the last few weeks, Daughter has decided she’s not going to lie down when she goes to bed. She informs us each time we put her down that she wants to, “Sit, sit!” (She’s having trouble with the ’s’ sound, which is problematic. I’ll leave that to your imagination).

There’s no fuss, she doesn’t ever cry when we put her down, but she is adamant that sitting is the correct and proper way to begin a rest cycle. We cover her with blankets, front and back, which she likes, and make sure Daisy dolly is there with her.
I don’t know what happens after we leave, having turned out the light and closed the door. We don’t hear a peep out of her, but I suspect she sits there for a few minutes, talking to herself and to dolly, and then decides it’s time to lie down.
PS This post isn’t anything spectacular, but it’s cute and it gives me a few moments away from my New Testament essay. After that’s done, I’ll be beginning a multi-part iPhone review, for those who are interested.
