We had a small, um… fire.

We awoke at about midnight on Monday night to the sounds of a woman outside saying, “There’s a fire!” We deduced from her words that there was some kind of fire “there”, so we raced downstairs and out the front of our place onto the grass. Turning to our right, we saw that, indeed, there [...]

Acupunture: The Verdict

Not good.
The first three visits were alright, except I didn’t feel any improvement. The fourth visit was unpleasant. Two of the needles the bloke put into my lower back, right down at the base of the spine (they didn’t go into my spine, of course) really caused me some pain.
I don’t know what [...]

Acupuncture

I’m having some at the moment, just over King St from where we live.
I don’t enjoy the actual treatment much, but the bloke there, Chen, says we should try four treatments and see what happens. Today is the third one and thus far I haven’t noticed much change.

In Column A we have Simon, whose profile tells us he [...]

Snorkelling at Manly

Snorkelling today, with Team Zissou. Sally and I caught the ferry from Gladesville down to Circular Quay and then on to Manly. We met the others there and jumped in first at Manly Wharf. We’d been told there was a ‘colony’ of sea horses there, living in the shark net. After 15 minutes without seeing [...]

These two have come up with a winner. His name is Kai Dashiel and he weighed in at 7lbs when he was born a couple of weeks ago. Annalese and Damon are in the UK at the moment, which I think goes some way to explaining the cricket jumper.
What an awesome looking baby.
