My RSS Feeds
Aug 15th, 2006 by Ben
Don’t panic. When Sally has our baby, God-willing, in November, she’ll be blogging up a storm, I’m sure.
Just a quick plug for RSS feeds (Wik entry) if you aren’t using them already. Here’s a page with good reviews on RSS readers for various platforms: RSS Readers. The beauty of using an RSS reader is that you’ll be notified when a site or blog you like is updated, without having to check yourself. New entries arrive kind of like emails in your email client.
You can see some of my RSS feeds in the image. They’re in an order, but not of importance. It’s difficult to explain, but it’s basically the order I want to read them in. The one’s I’d really recommend are:
Freemacware.com - for regular reviews of free mac apps.
theshow - Ze Frank’s daily video blog. You rarely laugh this hard at something.
Boing Boing - for usual news from around the globe
43 Folders - Merlin Mann on the art of organisation; ‘mind like water’.
Lifehacker - great tips on making everyday tasks easier and more enjoyable.
Passionate Users - this is actually called Creating Passionate Users and is a great tech/business blog on making products great.
As well as the blogs of some of my mates, which you can find over at Links.
Do you have any great RSS feeds you’d like to recommend?
