Getting Things Done (GTD) is the organisational and productivity system I use.
According to Luke, it was invented by Jesus and was kept secretly in the Vatican archives until a man named David Allen discovered it and published it in his book.
I’m pretty sure David Allen invented it though. Regardless, you should check it out and buy the book.
In February 2009 I wrote a short series introducing GTD. These are their stories.
- The Problem
- The Trusted System – Projects and Tasks
- The Calendar – The ‘Hard Landscape’
- Ubiquitous Capture – The Point of Failure
- Action – Getting Things Done
- Tools for GTD – Lo- and Hi-Tech
- Kicking Off – The Inbox
